Teaching Staff

Our TAGteach™ certified staff consists of highly regarded professional dancers and performing artists, each with exceptional teaching experience. Our teachers cultivate enthusiasm in our students through their own joy in dance and out of their sincere love for children (we TAG, we don’t nag!).

Sarah Cook, Asst. Director

Our Assistant Director has been with A Dancer's Dream since she was eight years old, learning the business from the inside out. After receiving her bachelor's degree in English, teaching in pre-school classrooms and running children's theatre programs including Deerfield Academy's Summer Arts Camp, Miss Sarah returned to A Dancer's Dream to accept the position she felt born to.
  Her professional accomplishments include choreography of "Jesus Christ Superstar," "Godspell" and several reviews with That's Entertainment Players of Lynn and Youth of Lynn. In 2001 Sarah directed "Really Rosie" for That's Entertainment Players of Lynn. Sarah was the Theatre and Dance counselor at Deerfield Academy Summer Arts Camp (1999-2001). While there she prepared a 45 minute script of Mid Summers Night Dream set in the 1950's, created 15 minute scripts of "Alice in Wonderland", "How the Leopard got it's Spots" for puppet shows, and oversaw two-week dance intensives with 20 children creating modern pieces — exploring modern, jazz and hip-hop dance styles.
  Sarah also proudly worked with Express Yourself, Inc. In association with the Mass Dept. of Mental Health and with guest stars Blue Man Group.[Top]
