Each summer we bring in a host of spectacular visiting teachers to join our qualified and certified veteran teaching staff to create a vibrant range of technique classes, choreography workshops and performance opportunities. Programs are available in both a traditional "camp" format (daily) or as a weekly class series (days & evenings) and for a wide range of ages. Of course, all programs are designed to engage and inspire!

New This Summer!
This August, Superstar Tumbling Coach Marshalle Grody will be available in August for both Group Acrobatics Clinics and Private Skill Aquisition Target Sessions. You'll be amazed at what just three days with Marshalle will do for your skill advancement!
ALSO, In addition to our Mid-Week Evening Classes and by popular demand, we've added a Monday class series with Kelliann Nave (young choreographer award winner). Miss Kelli is ready to razzle dazzle local dancers with two levels of Theatre Dance while 5th Element founding director Kai Le will present a Hip Hop class series exclusively for BBoyz. No worries BGirlz, there's a Monday class series with Kai for you too!
Dance Dayz & Mid-Week Evening Class Series
This summer our grade 1-12 dancers will jamm with a slew of the finest rhythm tap teachers in the New England area including Sean Shizz Fielder founder of Boston Tap Company and the fabulous "O'D" = Professor Clare O'Donnell. Also joining us are studio favorites Kai Le (Hip Hop) and Krista Sumski (Kickline) each guaranteed to get your dancer rockin'.
Additionally, and because we love experiencing diverse styles, Cultural Folk Dancing will continue to be explored as we welcome a selection of guest teachers from far and wide including members of Navarasa Dance Theater (Classic Indian & Bollywood) & Angkor Dance Troupe (Classic Cambodian). Keep checking back as our list of confirmed guest teachers & styles grows!
Mini Dance Dayz & Dancemix Series
Of course our Mini Dance Dayz can’t be beat. Weekly themes have our little divas fully engaged in fantasy and fun. Plus, they learn a ton! And finally, looking for something weekly? Our Summer Pre-School & Primary Class Series offer a great way to introduce your child to the joy of dance here at A Dancer's Dream where they will learn that dance is a magical vehicle from which to learn about oh so many fabulous things.

SUMMER CLASS SERIES (6-week session)
Pre-School Dancemix
Ages 2.6–3 yrs, 8–8:45 am. Cost: $78
Created for the little ones who just can't wait to dance! Original games & activities introduce Basic Ballet, Jazz, Tumbling & More. Wednesdays, 7/13–8/17 = one class per week
Primary Dancemix
Ages 4–6 yrs, 5 –5:55 pm. Cost: $78
A program built for fun! Combines classic & original exercises to introduce & expand your child's view of Ballet, Tap, Jazz, & Tumbling. Wednesdays, 7/13–8/17 = one class per week
Monday Evening Class Series
BBOYZ: Ages 6-12 yrs, 6 –6:55 pm. Cost: $78
BGIRLS/Hip Hop I: Ages 7-11yrs, 5:00-5:55pm. Cost: $78
BGIRLZ/HIP HOP II: Ages 12-18yrs, 7:00-7:55pm. Cost $78
Your young dancers will have a blast learning the fundementals of Hip Hop while gaining the confidence to build their own swagger. More advanced dancers work intricate choreography to build performance skill and conditioning. Mondays, 7/11–8/15 = one class per week
THEATRE DANCE I: Ages 7-11yrs, 6-7:30pm. Cost $114
THEATRE DANCE II: Ages 12-18yrs, 8-9:30pm. Cost $114.
If your child has a love of musical theatre and dance THIS is the class to choose! The class will focus on improving dance technique while keying in on character portrayal important to audition preparation or just for fun. Mondays, 7/11-8/15 = one class per week.
Mid-Week Evening Class Series
Ages 7-11, 6-8:55pm. Cost $510
Ages 12 & up, 6-8:55 pm. Cost: $510
We have created a concentrated technique program whereby dancers will experience intense classes in a variety of dance styles two evenings each week and be instructed to work on specific activities during their out of studio hours.
Tuesdays & Thursdays 7/12-8/18 = two eves per week, 2 classes per eve

SUMMER DANCE DAYZ (2 weeks, Mon thru Fri)

Mini Dance Dayz (1/2 day)
Ages 4–6 yrs, 9 am–1 pm. Cost: $275 one week, $500 both weeks
Classes, crafts & outdoor kicks keep our budding ballerinas on their tapping, tumbling & twinkling toes. Weekdays 8/2–8/13
Dance Dayz (1/2 day)
Entering Grades 1 –12, 9 am–1 pm. Cost: $500
Daily classes & workshops in a wide range of styles including: Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Acro, Hip Hop, Cultural, Modern, Folk, etc, etc, etc! Weekdays 7/18–7/29 [Dream Team: Each Dance Day completed counts as 3 hours toward your Summer Technique hour requirement]
Dance Dayz (full)
Entering Grades 1 –12, 9 am–4 pm. Cost: $700
A full day version of the above includes daily choreography workshops — a fav among our alumni. Weekdays 7/18–7/29 [Dream Team: Each Dance Day completed counts as 3 hours toward your Summer Technique hour requirement]
Teacher’s Apprentice Program (S-TAP)
Entering Grades 9+, 9 am–4 pm. Cost: $500
Apprentices take all classes/workshops along with their age/level appropriate dancemates. While assisting teachers and directors, S-TAPers learn class management skills and techniques. Limited spaces available. Written essay applications must be remitted by March 15, 2011. Weekdays 7/19–7/30
SUMMER ACRO CLINICS (four hour concentration)
Three Day Group Clinic (1/2 day)
Entering Grades 1 –12, 9 am–1 pm. Cost: $168
This half day clinic includes three intensive sessions (one per day) packed with tumbling, conditioning and flexibility drills to help insure you start the new season with an increasingly advanced set of skills. Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday (8/23-25 only) [Dream Team: Attending all three Clinic days counts as 12 hours toward your Summer Technique hour requirement]
Three Day Group Clinic (full day)
Entering Grades 1 –12, 9 am–4 pm. Cost: $273
Make the most of Marshalle's time here by extending your Acro Clinic day! Your afternoon will include partner stunting, free choice time and an opportunity to create with Marshalle a specific series of goals that you can track throughout your dance year. Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday (8/23-25 only) [Dream Team: Attending all three Clinic days counts as 12 hours toward your Summer Technique hour requirement]
One Day Group Clinic (1/2 day)
Entering Grades 1 –12, 9 am–1 pm. Cost: $60 per day
Choose one (or two!) of our group clinic days. Each day is jam packed wtih tumbling, conditioning and flexibility drills to help insure you start the new season with an increasingly advanced set of skills. One Day Group Clinic (full day)

Can you only come to one Acro Clinic day? Make the most of it by staying all day! Your afternoon will include partner stunting, free choice time and an opportunity to create with Marshalle a focused set of goals that you can track throughout your dance year. Private Acro Skill Coaching (by appointment)
Cost: $40 per 30 minutes (60 & 90 minute sessions also available on a first come, first served basis. Reserve your time today!).
Work one-on-one with Marshalle on the skill(s) YOU most want to acquire. [Dream Team: Private coaching hours count one-for-one toward your Summer Technique hour requirement]
Attention Dream Team! Though this Acro Clinic requires a separate/additional fee, you can use these hours toward your summer requirement as outlined above. Group Clinic hours = a great option and considerable savings over private lessons!
PERSONALIZED PLAN (to be completed by August 31st)
Private Lessons are definitely not the most cost effective way to meet your summer team requirement. We strongly advise you to work out your summer schedule to insure your dancer can attend either the day or evening group programs (or a combination of the two) listed above. If that is not possible, Private & Semi-Private Lessons may be arranged via written request. Please be sure to carefully review our Team Requirements Page for full details and expectations.
