SUMMER ROCKS AT A DANCER’S DREAM!

Long respected as a vibrant provider of quality dance & performing arts education, A Dancer’s Dream continues to add new and exciting aspects to our ever popular Summer Dance Dayz program offerings! A full program listing will be posted very soon, however, we are happy to offer a sneak peek.

This summer our dancers will jamm with a slew of the finest rhythm tap teachers in the New England area including the fabulous "O'D" = Professor Clare O'Donnell. Also on board are A.D.D. favorites Peter Zachari & Joey Mirabile who will be adding delicious drama to our days. Not to be out-voiced, vocal coach David Testa will insure our dancers sound as lovely as they look. As well, Bronwyn Sims will be back to get things swinging as she adds the excitement of Arial Acrobatics to our summer acro curricullum.

Additionally, and always a favorite, Cultural Folk Dancing will continue to be explored as we welcome a fresh selection of guest teachers from far and wide. These spectacular visiting teachers join our qualified and certified teaching staff for our Max Dance Dayz program. Together they provide our daily technique classes and choreography workshops - all offered in a wide range of movement styles sure to engage and inspire! Many of these same teachers work with us in the evenings as well for our Mid-Week Evening Class Series.

Of course our Mini Dance Dayz can’t be beat. Weekly themes have our little divas fully engaged in fantasy and fun. Plus, they learn a ton! And finally, looking for something weekly? Our Summer Pre-School & Primary Class Series offers a great way to introduce or continue to enrich your child with the joy of dance.

Please note: Age is determined as of Sept. 1, 2010. All programs are co-ed and fully adult supervised.

SUMMER CLASS SERIES (6-week session)

Pre-School Dancemix
Ages 2.6–3 yrs, 8–8:45 am. Cost: $78
Created for the little ones who just can't wait to dance! Original games & activities introduce Basic Ballet, Jazz, Tumbling & More. Wednesdays Wednesdays, 7/14–8/18 = one class per week

Primary Dancemix - one class per week
Ages 4–6 yrs, 5 –5:55 pm. Cost: $78
A program built for fun! Combines classic & original exercises to introduce & expand your child's view of Ballet, Tap, Jazz, & Tumbling. Wednesdays Wednesdays, 7/14–8/18 = one class per week

Mid-Week Evening Class Series

Ages 7-11, 6-8:55pm. Cost $435

Ages 12 & up, 6-8:55 pm. Cost: $435

We have created a concentrated technique program whereby dancers will experience intense classes in ballet, tap & jazz two evenings each week and be instructed to work on specific activities on their out of studio hours.

Tuesdays & Thursdays 7/13-8/19 = two eves per week, 2 classes per eve

SUMMER DANCE DAYZ (2 weeks, Mon thru Fri)

Extended hours may be arranged by contacting Sarah: . All programs include daily outdoor summer styled activities to keep your kids “cool.”

Mini Dance Dayz
Ages 4–6 yrs, 9 am–1 pm. Cost: $225 one week, $420 both weeks
Classes, crafts & outdoor kicks keep our budding ballerinas on their tapping, tumbling & twinkling toes. Weekdays 8/2–8/13

Midi Dance Dayz
Entering Grades 2–12, 9 am–1 pm. Cost: $420
Daily classes & workshops in a wide range of styles including: Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Acro, Hip Hop, Cultural, Modern, Pilates, . . . . Weekdays 7/19–7/30

Max Dance Dayz
Entering Grades 2–12, 9 am–4 pm. Cost: $625
A full day version of the above includes daily choreography workshops — a fav among our alumni. Weekdays 7/19–7/30

Teacher’s Apprentice Program (S-TAP)
Entering Grades 9+, 9 am–4 pm. Cost: $420
Apprentices take all classes/workshops along with their age/level appropriate dancemates. While assisting teachers and directors, S-TAPers learn class management skills and techniques. Limited spaces available. Written essay applications must be remitted by March 15, 2010. Weekdays 7/19–7/30

PERSONALIZED PLAN (to be completed by August 31st)

Created for Dream Team members who may have scheduling conflicts during the summer. Private & Semi-Private Lessons may be arranged via written request. Please see Team Requirements Page for details.

Entering Grades 2–12, Schedule to be determined.
